a place of caring, connection and creativity for people to work and play together towards a socially just and sustainable future. two/fiftyseven is a work, meeting and event space, within a hub of action and care, we’re creating inclusive, community-focused impact by making space accessible and bringing people together.
founded in 2021, in the first three years of operation the space has hosted over 1,100 events, provided space for over 600 organisations, donated over $230,000 of space and provided a home for over 250,000 hours of work and play.
we supported the founding of whangārei’s leading community led arts space. a passionate group took over an unused central city former church owned by the council, which now hosts 20,000 visitors a year, is home to our community radio station, and is a driver of high quality artistic development in tai tokerau
